11-YEAR-OLD BOY CHARGED WITH MURDERING HIS 6-YEAR-OLD BROTHER

An 11-year-old boy in Indiana is being charged with the murder of his 6-year-old brother, Andrew Frye (pictured above). Andrew Frye was shot in the head, and it was initially thought it was an accident. The boys were alone in their Morgan County, Indiana home. Recent reports is that police now believe the shooting was intentional, and the 11-year-old is being charged with murder and criminal recklessness in juvenile court. It seems that the worst punishment he could face is ten years in the juvenile detention system. This murder chage makes Frye the youngest person to be charged with murder in Indiana since 1920, when an 11-year-old was charged with murder and tried as an adult in Starke County, but was eventually acquitted. These teen killers are getting younger and younger, and I believe we will continue to see kids younger than 13 committing murderous acts. Much of the blame for these young killers is their unstable parents, easy access to deadly weapons, and a constant bombardment of violent meida, especially video games and movies. Let this be a wake up call for all parents out there today!
