Marlene Sollo, a Juvenile Justice Policy Fellow from the National Council of La Raza, spoke to the Summer Institute on Juvenile Justice on June 28, 2011 on status offenders. She was previously an attorney with the children's Law Center at the University of South Carolina College of Law and is the co-author of the article, "Representing the Status Offender: the Need for a Multi-Systemic Approach." Ms. Sollo spoke with us afterwards about a transfer case that has remained ingrained in her memory over a decade later.
