Sad News for Davontae Sanford



Earlier we were encouraged by the Court of Appeals' ruling that Davontae could withdraw his guilty plea, that the original trial judge must listen to expert testimony in the area of false confessions, and must listen to testimony that another convicted felon had committed the murders. We were most encouraged by the fact that at least two of the judges seemed to wrestle with the possibility that an innocent person could spend most of his life in prison.
